So it's been 2024 for around 2 weeks and I think it's time to talk to a wall (nobody reads these anyways LOL)

WHY NO ART?

Anyways, while I have been posting many pieces of music, you might notice a lack of art posted. The main reason was because most art I make now are for a game I'm working on, so I can't really share it without leaking anything (even though I'm the only one working on it.) I'll try to get the game out sooner or later, but it might be a while. My music, however, isn't at all related to that project, so I post those.

PLANS FOR 2024?

Mainly my plans are to get that darn game out, so I can be free at last! I'm not the best coder, but still I'm trying!!!! Other than that, I plan to release more art and music as always, while also just being more active here instead of sleeping all day. Hell, I might even open commissions for extra money on top of the zero dollars I'm making every month.

HIGHLIGHTS OF 2023?

There is only ONE highlight, and NOTHING can beat it. (@picolocity366 would agree)

I rest my case. But other than that, some of my favorite pieces of music I've written like:

Was mainly an experimental track, but turned into a cool one.

I just generally like the melodies.

I like to consider "Vaspiration" as my theme/anthem.

Made me just sit still and think about life, with no interruptions, noise, problems, until I get a discord notification.

Well, it is unfortunate that I say that my laptop, that carries majority of my work, including all of my art, music, etc., seems to be malfunctioning. I’ll try to get it fixed or find a way to back up all my data, but for now it seems like my laptop is essentially useless, so all things, music, art, etc., will be at a halt until I can resolve this.

If you want specific details, my ASUS laptop (bought as a gift to me) seems to be glitching out rapidly, even in the login screen, and so far no tutorials are working or match my issue. If you have any suggestions, please leave them in the comments.

[Edit: Turns out it’s an unsolvable issue that if changed, can cause even more problems. My dad is getting another desktop (took a lot of convincing), so I am just gonna wait.]

If you haven't already knew, I use FL Studio to compose my music (I use it with Fruity Edition. Trust me the name isn't sus.) If you are weird and wanna see individual instrumental tracks, or just wanna mess with my messy project files, you can now! Right now only Empty Headed (https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1185738) is available, but later more newer songs will be available (and some old songs by requests. Comment it down if you want (only really every song after Battle Up (including Battle Up).

EOTJ (End Of The Journey) and OW (OVERWORKED) will be remastered in the next following weeks. EOTJ will be first since it is keeping majority of the melody besides the first part and OVERWORKED will be REWORKED (haha pun) entirely, melody and instrumental wise.

Also can remaster some old songs that aren’t that bad like inactive, or Coffeehouse Cooldown.

Art

My drawing tablet made me get back into art and lately I've been drawing a lot. There are no current things that are happening with art. I've considered doing commissions, but at the same time, who the hell's gonna buy my art? So no plans for now, maybe.

Music

If you have seen any of @picolocity366's recent posts, you would know I am creating the music for his FNF mod. Other than that I did get FL Studio Fruity Edition with comes with a few problems: Most of the plugins I used in trial are not available in the Fruity Edition. So Soundfont Player and Sytrus are off-limits, which sucks because I use these a lot, especially Soundfont Player. I have been working on alternatives then just buying it (To buy both would cost more than if I upgraded to Producer Edition), but I will have to install more plugins to compensate for the lack of new instruments (although FLEX is a lifesaver).

Other

It's been around a month since school started and it's not THAT bad, but I am starting to feel the pain of homework and tests already.

This was just a status update to how I'm doing. I'll probably upload art and music sometime this week.

(Oh yeah, did I ever tell you that my mom died last month?)
